Detailed Instructions
Assemble at Temple tube from 1.30pm , we will be marching at 2pm.
Bagpipers will be at the front of the march so if any member of your party is noise sensitive it may be advisable to join the back of the march. please be considerate if you have horns or whistles and join the front of the march.
We will March down Victoria Embankment past Embankment tube station and onwards towards Parliament turning right into Bridge Street and right again into Parliament Street. We will stop at Downing Street to hand the parents mandate into number 10.
We then proceed up Whitehall turning right onto the Strand and round to Trafalgar Square
Speakers will address the rally.
The route is around 1.7 miles long and should take 40 minutes to walk.
There is a slight slope to Trafalgar square from Whitehall ..
It’s possible that you could join the march on route if you cannot make the distance.
Westminster tube would take around ¾ of a mile off the march.
Alternatively join us in Trafalgar square

excellent ground level public toilets with disabled facilities
Trafalgar square
Underground toilets with a lift for disabled access.
In addition there are several pubs with toilets on route but I have not been allowed to test them.
